Normally support gifts for missionaries are not tax-deductible. However, Pioneers operates a tax deductible fund for gifts to approved development and aid projects. Aaron & Debbie Smart are assigned to the ‘Hope Education Project Lesotho' which has been approved by the Overseas Aid & Relief Fund. Gifts for their support may therefore be tax deductible (for Australian Tax Payers), if directed through the project. Please note that support gifts through the project can only be used within the project. If you wish to receive tax-deductible receipts through the project or have any queries in relation to tax-deductible gifts through the Overseas Aid & Relief Fund, please contact the Pioneers Financial Administrator on 1800 78 78 89 (freecall within Australia) or (03) 9879 2900.
